Ritz
Ritz is CRONZ’s favourite when you are looking for a gleaming shaggy rug. Felted wool, combined with the sheen of nylon, display an extraordinary texture, movement and shimmer.
This style is created by J tuft stitches which means one end of each stitch is shorter than the other. The short end of the J supports the long end, allowing movement and flashes of colour variance as the cut and side of the yarns are displayed. Tonal as well as contrasting colours of nylon to the wool bring a burnished sheen addition to the felted wool. A ratio of 3-4 nylon threads are used to one thread of wool, depending on the percentage of sheen required. These can be all one colour or 4 different colours. Both the felted wool & nylon are naturally strong and durable yarns making the Ritz a glamorous style for the living, lounge and bedrooms of the home.
With a finished pile height of 15/40mm, Ritz is a natural insulator of noise to all rooms with hard surface flooring.
