A fine loop row sitting below dense plush cut pile rows creates a rib sequel identifying our popular Celestial rug style. The Celestial finish brings timeless elegance in a loose lay rug or as wall-to-wall carpet. Colour options for the cut or loop rows range from subtle natural tones through to bolder colour choice - for those who love colour. Whether you are creating a nexus of colour and structure to a formal space or a modest inclusion for functionality and practicality, the Celestial finish is smart, clean and sophisticated and looks great in any setting. The raised cut pile sits 5-10 mm above the loop creating the rib pattern. The customary widths of the cut pile are 10 mm but these can be varied from 5mm to 20mm and still maintain the ribbed effect. The Celestial style is glamorous in many of our commonly used yarns - 100% NZ singles wool, 100% nylon, or a mix of wool in the loop and nylon in the cut pile.
