Art Deco-Inspired Carpets, Christchurch

In collaboration with esteemed designer and interior architect Michelle Lamb, we had the privilege of crafting two bespoke wall-to-wall carpets for an art deco-inspired residence in Christchurch.

The master bedroom features a rich brown wool carpet, elegantly framed by a double border in metallic gold nylon. This custom design utilizes our signature colours—Pure Oak (wool) and Nugget (nylon)—to create an elegant yet understated feature that complements the room’s art deco aesthetic.

In the heart of the home lies the whisky room, a space designed for relaxation and entertaining. Here, the custom geometric carpet design, with its bold curves and arches, embodies the essence of art deco style. Once again, the Pure Oak and Nugget colour palette shines, enhancing the room’s luxurious and inviting atmosphere.

Each carpet was carefully crafted by our skilled team, and the whisky room’s geometric masterpiece, in particular, showcases the precision and artistry of our tufting process. This project exemplifies our commitment to quality craftsmanship and innovative design, resulting in a home that beautifully marries art deco elegance with modern comfort.
